POLREC, the European consortium to promote the recycling of plastic waste of which the MAV Cluster is a part, has extended until November 7 at 12 noon the deadline for submitting applications to opt for the call for innovation funding for companies

The project has a total budget of 1.28 million euros over three years that will be developed over eight calls for funding that will aim to help companies develop solutions for mechanical and chemical recycling of polymers, as well as solutions digital for monitoring and traceability of the quality of recycled materials.

The call for innovation that starts now aims to support SMEs by financing their polymer recycling projects. It is divided into three subtopics:

Selected SMEs will be awarded a budget based on their service provider's quote. This budget will be allocated exclusively to the payment of the services provided within the framework of the project carried out by the PIME.

European SMEs can apply to the Cluster Submission Platform. Applicants must log in or create an account to access the POLREC open call application form. POLREC project partners have published a Guide for Applicants which can be consulted online.

To help SMEs choose their service provider, the MAV Cluster has identified a list of organizations that offer R&D services or support for the implementation of mechanical or chemical recycling solutions. Applicants can contact these organizations to work on their project as part of their application to the POLREC Innovation Call.
